Where is Sophia? - 06.25.2009

Thursday Jun 25, 2009
Spiritual and wisdom teaching of Shunyamurti recorded on Thursday evening (June 25, 2009) at the Sat Yoga Institute in Costa Rica.
Excerpt: “The human soul is plagued by four major issues: Human egoic love can be characterized by frigidity; and the human egoic mind by stupidity; and the soul with impotence; and it is all set in a frame of obstinacy, refusal to let go of these characteristics. In fact, an inability to let go of a kind of petrifaction of our capacity to be - so how do we break through this?
In the ancient world the primary Goddess, who in Greece was named Sophia, was the antidote to all of this, because Sophia is the Goddess of wisdom, and of love, a non-frigid love, a love of total divine generosity, openness, flowingness, and potency; all powerful, and yet light; spontaneous, free, freed even to fly onto other dimensions, other worlds beyond this physical plane. Where is Sophia? Where has She gone?”

Spiritual and wisdom teaching of Shunyamurti recorded on Thursday evening (June 18, 2009) at the Sat Yoga Institute in Costa Rica.
Excerpt: “Namaste. This is a room of divine beings. All of us are emanations of the divine light and the oneness of the Supreme Love. But the ego plays hide and seek with the light and that love, and eventually it is lost more often than it is found. And so if we are going to get out of this game of lost and found we have to do something that the sufis call dhikr or shikr, which is remembrance of God.”

A Split Mind - 6.02.2009

Tuesday Jun 02, 2009
Spiritual and wisdom teaching of Shunyamurti recorded on Tuesday afternoon (June 02, 2009) at the Sat Yoga Institute in Costa Rica.
Excerpt: “For the moth to actually dive into the flame and dissolve it is the end of the moth, so most moths circle around it, they get burned a little bit but then they go back. It is a rare moth who will finally dive all the way in…
And then there is love, but there is love not coming from any object of desire. The love comes from diving into the flame itself, the Real, not the imaginary projection; and it cannot come from another human being, it can only come from the ultimate Source that is the true essence of what all is.”
