And that is more and more important these days, as the world is shaking, both literally and figuratively, and people are feeling more and more groundless in their lives. And it is important to make it a very conscious part of our meditative practice to cultivate the power of unshakable stillness, steadiness, that does not waver, and that does not yield to fear or confusion. And that power, once it has been cultivated to a certain extent becomes just simply a natural attribute of our character and acts without any conscious intention needed, it simply becomes second nature. It is actually our original nature but it got repressed when the ego began to develop.”
